Read the basis, then the number

Billed is not
the same as received.

Profit and Loss uses cash-basis revenue, excluding collected tax. Expenses follow their recorded dates. Paid late fees appear separately under Revenue; each currency has its own totals.

Illustrative example / one currency / no tax$2,000 invoiced. $1,200 received.

With $300 in recorded expenses during the period, Profit and Loss shows $900 profit. The unpaid $800 is not received revenue.

Example figures for one period and currency.
Does archiving change my history?

Reports include archived clients and projects. Deleted expenses and recurring invoice templates are excluded; the invoices created from those schedules are records in their own right.

Can staff open reports?

People who see money can open all six reports, limited to clients they can reach. Handling money is not required just to read a report.
