BillGrid vs Harvest
Harvest is time tracking first, with invoicing, priced per seat plus usage. BillGrid is invoicing with time tracking, at a flat price.
The short answer
Choose Harvest if detailed time tracking for a team matters most: desktop and mobile timers, timesheet approvals, capacity and profitability reports. It also has a free plan for one person with two projects. Choose BillGrid if you want a price you can predict: $8 a month, or $20 for a company plus $5 per extra login, with unlimited invoices, clients and projects and nothing charged by usage.

Which fits you
Harvest is the better choice if
- you run a team where approvals, capacity and profitability reporting matter
- you track time across many tools and devices
- you're one person with two projects and want to pay nothing
BillGrid is the better choice if
- you want a bill that doesn't grow with your projects, clients or invoices
- you want reminders before the due date, not only after
- you'd rather pay Stripe's rate with nothing added on top
Switching to BillGrid
There's no import for clients or past invoices yet, so most people add clients as they next bill them and keep their old tool for history. Expenses can be imported from a CSV file. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, which you connect in a few minutes; BillGrid adds no fee on top of Stripe's.
Both BillGrid plans are free for 30 days, with no card needed. Start free See pricing
