BillGrid vs HoneyBook
HoneyBook runs the whole client booking flow: proposals, contracts, scheduling and payments it processes itself. BillGrid does billing and time on your own Stripe account.
The short answer
Choose HoneyBook if you book clients through proposals, contracts, e-signatures and a scheduler, and you're happy for HoneyBook to process your payments. Choose BillGrid if you mainly bill hourly or project work, invoice in several currencies, or want your own Stripe account with no fee added, for $8 a month instead of $36.

Which fits you
HoneyBook is the better choice if
- clients book you through a proposal, a contract and a deposit, often from your phone
- you want scheduling, lead capture and a pipeline in the same app
- you want automatic late fees, payment plans or bank payments
BillGrid is the better choice if
- you bill by the hour or by the project and track time as you go
- you invoice clients in more than one currency
- you'd rather keep payments on your own Stripe account and pay $8 a month
Switching to BillGrid
There's no import for clients or past invoices yet, so most people add clients as they next bill them and keep their old tool for history. Expenses can be imported from a CSV file. Card payments go through your own Stripe account, which you connect in a few minutes; BillGrid adds no fee on top of Stripe's.
Both BillGrid plans are free for 30 days, with no card needed. Start free See pricing
